July 21st, Saturday, 10am-1pm –  Classic Sugar Roses - $125/student

In this class Steph Lawshe from Sweet Little Morsels, LLC will teach you how to make beautiful classic sugar Roses in just a few easy steps that will provide that WOW factor to your cakes! You will learn how to work with sugar paste (Gumpaste), cut out petals using single and 5 petal cutters, creating a realistic look to each petal, assembling and dusting your roses with subtle, yet realistic shading.

All items and tools needed to create the sugar roses will be provided for use during the class only.

Students will be provided with extra sugar paste and a cake dummy to place flowers in to take home. Students will receive a 5% discount on all purchases at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies on the day of the class.

Available for students ages 16+ - Beginner to intermediate

Class requires a minimum of 2 students and there is a maximum of 4 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you may transfer to another class or obtain a full refund

July 21st, Saturday, 2pm-5pm –  Russian Tips Class - $85/student for students with Russian tips, $100/student includes 4 Russian tips to take home

In this class, Mayra Garcia from celebrateMe!, will teach you how to use buttercream to decorate cupcakes using Russian Tips. Students will learn various piping techniques using these special tips to create beautiful spring cupcakes.

The workshop will begin with a short demo on how to make the perfect buttercream for piping flowers. Each student will receive 10 cupcakes and a cupcake box to take home.

Available to students ages 13+. All ingredients needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop.

$85/per students who own Russian Tips (BYOTips)

August 12th, Sunday, 11am-4pm – 2-Tier Fondant Rosette Ruffle Cake Workshop  - $205/ student

In this class, Mayra Garcia from celebrateMe!, will begin the workshop with a demo on how to fill and ice a cake properly. Each student will receive a 6” edible cake and an 8” styrofoam dummy cake to decorate. There will be a short lunch break with light refreshments provided.

Students will learn:

  • How to properly stack a 2-tier cake
  • How to make fondant rosette ruffles on their 8” dummy cake
  • How to fill and crumb coat their 6” cake
  • How to cover their 6” cake with fondant
  • How to make a simple yet beautiful fondant flower
