Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, competitor on Food Networks The Wedding Cake Championship, for some competitive fun in this Halloween-Themed, Parent & Me, Nailed It-style Cake Competition!!!

The parent & me teams will watch a cake-decorating demo, and Chef Dawn will demonstrate additional piping techniques and decorating skills  After watching the demo, the teams will have time to practice their cake piping skills.  After this practice, each team will be given a cake and will have exactly 30 minutes to create their cake while adding their own edge to the Halloween themed cake.

The winning team will receive a prize! Join us to see who will take the winning title home!

Appropriate for ages 7+ with adult

This class can be a little messy so please wear something that can withstand a little buttercream or bring an apron.

All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop only. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class.  Each team will receive a box to take their cake home in.  

Each ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child. If you wish to bring more than 1 child to the class, there will be an additional charge of $30. Please contact Fran's directly to purchase your ticket to ensure we can accommodate an additional child.

Class requires a minimum of 2 teams and there is a maximum of 6 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
