Join Dawn Alston from Ravy Cakes, LLC competitor on Food Networks Wedding Cake Championship, for a family fun Halloween Unicorn Cake Decorating Class.

In this class, each team will receive a 6-inch, 2-layer cake and will learn how to level and crumb-coated their cake. The teams will also learn how to apply the final buttercream to the cake. In addition, students will learn various piping techniques, how to tint fondant, cover the cake with fondant, and how to create fondant accessories. Throughout the class, Chef Dawn will share tips and tricks about cake decorating. This is the perfect cake for Halloween dessert!

All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the class only. A box will be provided for students to take their cake home. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class. 

Available for students ages 6-12 years old. 

Each ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child.  If you wish to bring more than 1 child to the class, there will be an additional charge of $30.  Please contact Fran's directly to purchase your ticket to ensure we can accommodate an additional child. 

Class requires a minimum of 2 teams and there is a maximum of 4 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.

In response to the pandemic, we have modified our class space in order to increase the space between each student. Based on CDC guidance, effective with classes after May 1st, face coverings are now optional during class. Should CDC guidance change, we may need to require face coverings. We have disposable face masks available should you need one. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.

Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $6.64 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
