Sugar Flower Class: Sugar Poppy at Frans Cake and Candy Supplies

In this 2-day class you will be taught how to make a beautiful Sugar Poppy in just a few easy steps that will provide that WOW factor to your cakes! You will learn how to work with sugar paste (Gumpaste), cut out and wire each petal using Poppy cutters and groove board, creating a realistic look to each petal, assembling and dusting your Poppy with subtle, yet realistic shading.

Please note - this is a 2-day class. The class will take place on Saturday and Sunday 5/13 and 5/14) from 10am-1pm. Students will be provided with sugar paste, a set of Poppy cutters, and a cake box to place flowers in to take home.

All items and tools needed to cover your cake will be provided for use during the class only.  Students will receive a 5% discount on all purchases at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies on the day of the class. 

Available for students ages 16+ - Beginner to intermediate

Class requires a minimum of 2 students and there is a maximum of 4 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.  Changes/cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the class.  Within 7 days of the class no changes or cancellations are permitted.

In response to the pandemic, we have reduced the number of students in each class in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.

Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $7.99 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
