Join Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, LLC competitor on Food Networks Wedding Cake Championship, for a fun & creative beginners cake decorating class with fondant.
The participants will learn how to build a two-layered six- inch cake with buttercream, and learn how to apply buttercream to the cake, piping techniques, learn how to tint fondant cover the cake with fondant, and additional tips and tricks about cake decorating.
Available for students ages 16+.
All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the class only. A box will be provided for students to take their cake home. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class. This class can be a little messy so please wear something that can withstand some buttercream or bring an apron from home.
Class requires a minimum of 4 students and there is a maximum of 6. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund. Changes and cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the class. No refunds or changes are allowed within 7 days of the class
In response to the pandemic, we have reduced the number of students in each class in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.
