Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies Loyalty Rewards Program Policy

By participating in Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies Loyalty Rewards Program, you agree to be bound by our Loyalty Rewards Program Policy, which is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

General

The Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies Loyalty Rewards Program (the “Program”) is brought to you by Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies. (“Fran’s.” or “we”). Participation in the Program is subject to these terms and conditions and includes our general Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy, which are incorporated herein.

Eligibility

In order to participate as a Program Member (“Member”) in the Program you must have a registered Account (“Account”) with Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies and you must be 13 years of age or older.

All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use franscakeandcandy.com.

Your Account must be active and in good standing. You may have only one Account with Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies and that account may not be shared. However, there may be more than one Account in a household. Accounts cannot be merged or transferred.

By creating an Account, you are automatically enrolled as a Member to participate in this Program and are agreeing to these Program Terms.

If you do not agree to these Program Terms, you can still create an Account but must notify us immediately that you wish to have your Account excluded from the Program. as described in the “Contact Us” section below.

Overview

The Program is a free customer loyalty rewards program that allows Members to earn reward points on qualifying purchases from Fran’s either in our retail stores or on franscakeandcandy.com. Members may also earn reward points by participating in Promotional Activities that may be offered through the Program from time to time. Members may redeem accumulated reward points towards purchases in our retail store or on franscakeandcandy.com.

How to Earn Reward Points

Reward Points will not be awarded for purchases or actions prior to the start of this Program.

Once a Member, you can begin earning Reward Points the following ways:

  • Initial Member sign up – earn 50 Reward Points by creating an Account in our retail stores or on franscakeandcandy.com.
  • Purchasing Merchandise – earn 1 Reward Point for every $1.00 you spend, excludes shipping cost, fees or taxes that may apply. 
  • Points will not be earned on class registration fees
  • You must provide your Fran’s-registered email address at the time of purchase either in our retail stores or on franscakeandcandy.com to have any Reward Points credited to your account.

From time to time, we, may also offer you the opportunity to earn bonus Reward Points for participating in Promotional Activities

Reward Points will only be credited to you on purchases after the order has been marked completed and shipped. If the order is cancelled or refunded, your Reward Points will be reduced by the amount of points earned for the cancelled or refunded merchandise regardless of the reason.

How To Redeem Reward Points

Fran’s Reward Points have no cash value, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, and are promotional in nature. Reward Points are redeemable towards merchandise only when purchased at our retail stores or on franscakeandcandy.com and cannot be applied to previous purchases. You are responsible for any federal, state or local taxes applicable to your participation in the Program. Fran’s Reward Points are never redeemable for cash, for gift cards or for e-gift certificates.  Fran’s Reward Points cannot be used as payment for any of our classes or other in-store events.

In case of a technical malfunction, or if data is lost or corrupted, Fran’s will, where possible, attempt to accurately restore lost balances. 

Reward Points earned can be redeemed at the cart or checkout page on franscakeandcandy.com only after adding the desired merchandise to the Member’s cart.

Fran’s Reward Points are redeemable only towards the purchase of merchandise in Fran’s Retail locations or on franscakeandcandy.com.  Fran’s Reward Points cannot be used to redeem free shipping, to pay sales tax, or to purchase anything other than merchandise at Fran’s retail locations or on franscakeandcandy.com. Fran’s Reward Points cannot be used to pay for gift cards or for classes. 

Refunds for the return of merchandise purchased in part with Fran’s Reward Points will be in the amount that was actually paid by the customer after applying the Reward Point Discount.  If you redeem Reward Points and a refund for the order on which the Reward Points were earned is later requested, regardless of the reason, any refund due will be issued for the for the amount that was actually paid after applying the reward point discount.  No refund will be issued for the value of the Reward Points deducted from your account.

If you redeem Reward Points and the order is cancelled or refunded before it is shipped and/or completed, you will be credited the redeemed Reward Points back into your Account.  There will be no credit of redeemed Reward Points for orders that are canceled/refunded after an order has been shipped or is complete.

Redemption of Fran’s Reward Points may be subject to additional terms and conditions, such as restrictions on use. The rewards offered through Fran’s Rewards Loyalty Program may be modified by Fran’s at any time.

You can view your current Rewards Points balances, referral links, and previous transactions by logging into your account on franscakeandcandy.com.

If you believe your Rewards Points balance is incorrect, you must report the issue before any other transactions on your Account take place. You can report such issues by contacting Fran’s as described in the Contact Us section below.

If Fran’s agrees that a correction is needed, it may take up to four weeks for Reward points to be adjusted. Failure to supply necessary documentation may result in an inability to award or adjust Reward Points. For verification, you should retain all receipts and documentation until your Reward Points are credited to your Account.

Point Expiration

Fran’s Reward Points are non-transferrable.  All unredeemed Rewards Points will expire when a program member has not engaged in Fran’s Reward Points activity associated with that membership account (through purchase or redemption) for the previous 12 months. In addition, Fran’s Reward Points will automatically expire if your membership is revoked or otherwise cancelled for any reason.

Account Termination

Participation in the Program is a privilege granted to account-holders registered with Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies, and can be suspended, revoked, or terminated at any time by us for any reason. If your Program membership is terminated, all Fran’s Reward Points associated with your Program membership and any Program Benefits will be forfeited immediately upon termination. If your Program membership is terminated due to fraudulent activity or noncompliance with these Program Terms, in addition to forfeiting all Rewards Points and Program Benefits associated with your Program membership immediately, your Account will be deactivated and banned from using franscakeandcandy.com and you will be ineligible to participate in or rejoin the Program or any future programs hosted by Fran’s.

Program Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to change or terminate the Program, or any part thereof, at any time without notice and without further obligations to Fran’s or to Program Members, including, but not limited to modifications which: a) govern how Rewards Points are earned on and after the date of change; or b) change the redemption rewards offered.  No Rewards Points will be earned or redeemed after the effective date of termination. Any and all changes and/or amendments to these Program Terms will become binding upon all members immediately.

Fran’s reserves the right to suspend, terminate, revalue or modify, without liability, or notice to Account members, all or part of the Reward Points value structure and offers and any merchandise or service.

Interpretation of Program Terms

Fran’s reserves the right to adjudicate all discrepancies in its sole discretion, and the Members agree to abide with any such adjudication.

All interpretations of these Program Terms will be at Fran’s sole discretion and Fran’s decisions will be final. 

Disclaimer

The Program and/or any of its features may be unavailable, inaccurate or interrupted from time to time for a variety of reasons. We are not responsible for any unavailability, interruptions or errors involving the Program or its features. Fran’s Cake and Candy Supplies is not responsible for unauthorized use of Fran’s Reward Points. If your Fran’s account is closed, you will lose all Reward Points.  Fran’s may request information from you to confirm your identity before it will allow use of your Reward Points. Fran’s may delay your access to the Reward Points until you comply with this information request. The Program and all the information accessible through it are provided for information purposes only on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
