In this class Steph Lawshe from Sweet Little Morsels, LLC will teach you how to cover a real cake with fondant and achieve clean/straight edges. She will also share some tips, tricks and a few simple design techniques. This is a great class for beginners and bakers who still have trouble working with fondant and covering cakes.
Students will be provided with fondant, a real cake to cover and to take home after the class. A box to take the cake home in will also be provided.
All items and tools needed to cover your cake will be provided for use during the class only. Students will receive a 5% discount on all purchases at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies on the day of the class.
Available for students ages 16+ - Beginner to intermediate
Class requires a minimum of 2 students and there is a maximum of 4 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
In response to the pandemic, we have modified our class space in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.
Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $8.67 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
