Parent and Me Snowman Cake Decorating Class!

A little frosting, a little fondant, and a whole lot of winter fun! Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn of Ravy Cakes, LLC for a sweet adventure as you and your little decorator team up to create an adorable snowman cake. Each team will receive a five-inch, two-layered, crumb-coated cake. The teams will learn how to apply the final buttercream to the cake, create fondant decorations, and learn how to cover the cake with fondant while creating a winter wonderland snowman!

We'll use buttercream and fondant to bring our frosty friends to life with cheerful faces, cozy winter details, and plenty of personality! This playful class is a wonderful way to celebrate the winter holiday season, spend time together, and make sweet memories. All tools are included for use during class to create your cake and a cake box will be provided to take your cakes home.

For children ages 5 and up, accompanied by a parent or adult Come ready to decorate, giggle, and let your creativity snow!

Meet Your Instructor:

Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native, grew up in Northern Virginia where she started baking at the age of six. Dawn holds an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and has competed in many local baking events, and in 2018 she competed on Food Network’s Wedding Cake Championship. Chef Dawn strives to share her love of baking and decorating through teaching both adult and children's classes.

Price: $145 per team
Age Level: Ages 5 and up with a parent or adult
Skill Level: Beginner

• Each team will receive one five-inch, two-layered, crumb-coated cake to decorate together.
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• A cake box will be provided to take your finished cake home.
• Come ready to decorate, giggle, and let your creativity snow!
• Class is limited to a maximum of 8 teams.
• Class will run approximately 2.5 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens, so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
