Join Dawn Alston from Ravy Cakes, competitor on Food Networks Wedding Cake Championship, for our Parent and Me Valentine’s Day drip cake with a Sugar Cookie Cake Topper.

Each Parent & Child team will receive a 6-inch, two-layered cake. Each team will learn to crumb-coat their cake and how to apply the final layer of buttercream. Additionally, the teams will learn piping techniques, how to decorate the cookie cake topper, and how to apply drip onto the cake. Chef Dawn will also share additional tips and tricks for cake decorating throughout the class.

Appropriate for children aged 6+ with parent/adult. All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the class only. A box will be provided for each team to take their cake home. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class.

This class can be a little messy so please where something that can withstand a little buttercream or bring an apron from home.

Each ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child. If you wish to bring more than 1 child to the class, there will be an additional charge of $30. Please contact Fran's directly to purchase your ticket to ensure we can accommodate an additional child.

Class requires a minimum of 2 teams and there is a maximum of 4 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.

In response to the pandemic, we have modified our class space in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.

Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $6.42 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
