Sharp & Smooth Buttercream Cake Class

buttercream cake decorating class

In this class Stephanie Lawshe from Sweet Little Morsels, will teach you how to achieve a sharp edge and smooth buttercream cake followed with a buttercream watercolor effect. She'll also teach you how to apply a ganache drip and how to properly prep real flowers that will go on your finished masterpiece. Each student will receive a real cake that they will apply buttercream to and the materials needed to prep their flowers. This is a great class for those who want to achieve a smoother buttercream finish on their cake and learn some new techniques.

All items and tools needed to cover your cake will be provided for use during the class only. Students will receive a 5% discount on all purchases at Fran's Cake and Candy Supplies on the day of the class.

Available for students ages 16+ - Beginner to intermediate

Class requires a minimum of 2 students and there is a maximum of 4 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.

In response to the pandemic, we have modified our class space in order to increase the space between each student.  Based on CDC guidance, effective with classes after May 1st, face coverings are now optional during class.  Should CDC guidance change, we may need to require face coverings.   We have disposable face masks available should you need one. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.
