Sugar Flower Class: Sugar Poppy

In this 2-day class you will be taught how to make a beautiful Sugar Poppy in just a few easy steps that will provide that WOW factor to your cakes! You will learn how to work with sugar paste (Gumpaste), cut out and wire each petal using Poppy cutters and groove board, creating a realistic look to each petal, assembling and dusting your Poppy with subtle, yet realistic shading.

Please note - this is a 2-day class. The class will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 3/26 and 3/27, from 10am-1pm.

Students will be provided with sugar paste, a set of Poppy cutters, and a cake box to place flowers in to take home.

Available for students ages 16+ - Beginner to intermediate

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.

In response to the pandemic, we have modified our class space in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.

Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $7.99 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
