Tweens and Teens Halloween-Themed Cake Decorating Class & Competition
Join Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, LLC, competitor on Food Networks, The Wedding Cake Championship, for a Halloween-Themed Tweens and Teens fun & competitive Nailed-It styled cake decorating class/competition.
Students will watch a cake-decorating demo, and Chef Dawn will demonstrate additional piping techniques and decorating skills. After watching the demo, participants will have time to practice their cake piping skills.  After this practice, each student will be given a cake and will have exactly 30 minutes to create and add their own design to their cake. The mystery theme will be announced on the day of class. (Each time we have this class, the theme is different!)

Appropriate for ages 11-15. This class can be a little messy so please wear something that can withstand a little buttercream or bring an apron.
All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop only. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class. Each participant will receive a box to take their cake home in. Â
Class requires a minimum of 4 students and there is a maximum of 8. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
Please Note: This is NOT a team based class. This is an individual based competition.
Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
In response to the pandemic, we have modified our class space in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.

Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $5.97 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
