Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, competitor on Food Networks The Wedding Cake Championship, for a fun & creative cake decorating class where you will learn how to build and stack a 2-tier buttercream glam cake!

Each participant will receive 5 inch and 7 inch cake layers to build their cake tiers. Students will learn to fill, crumb coat and apply the final coat of buttercream to their cakes. Students will also learn to tint buttercream and will learn many tips & techniques for stacking tiered cakes. Additionally, students will earn to apply silk flowers and other embellishments to enhance their creation. Chef Dawn will share many tips and cake decorating techniques throughout the class. Each student will receive a tall cake box to take their cake home.

This is a fun and informative cake decorating class great for beginners or if you need a refresher.

Appropriate for ages 16+

All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop only. Teams will receive a box to take their cake home in. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class. This class can be a little messy so you may wish to bring an apron.

Class requires a minimum of 4 participants and there is a maximum of 6 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
