Watermelon Themed Beginner Cake Decorating Class
About this class:
What’s better than a piece of ice cold watermelon on a hot summer day? A cake that looks and tastes like watermelon!
In this class, Laura Larson from Laura's Custom Cakes will provide you with a freshly baked, 5-inch crumb-coated cake. Laura will guide you through coloring your buttercream and applying a smooth final coat of buttercream. Next, you’ll learn how to use fondant to transform your cake into a delightful watermelon treat! Throughout the class, we’ll also discuss various baking and decorating techniques.
This class is great for anyone who has a basic knowledge of decorating with buttercream icing and would like an introduction to using fondant to add accents and details to your cakes.

All The Details:
- Age Level: 13+
- Skill Level: Beginner
- All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
- We will provide a box to take your cake home in
- The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
- If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
- Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
- Class requires a minimum of 4 students and there is a maximum of 9 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Class will run approximately 2.5-3 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.
Cancellation Policy:
Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
