Rose Levy Beranbaum's Silicone Baking Bowl offers fuss-free chocolate preparation. With a 1.5-quart (6-cup) capacity, there's ample room for melting enough ingredients for fudgy brownies, rich ganache, and lemon curd. It's also great for making cream sauces.
It collapses to 2-inches for compact storage. Made from European-grade silicone that's subjected to a higher standard of testing, it's stronger and more durable to withstand everyday stress and strain, like twisting to release foods, and maintains its elasticity and flexibility to bounce back to its original shape. Its non-stick property endure through more uses than other baking molds.
This silicone bowl makes it easy to melt chocolate. For microwave, chop block chocolate into smaller pieces, place them inside the bowl, set the bowl in the microwave on 50% power, and stir every 30 seconds until chocolate is almost melted. Remove it from the microwave and continue to stir until chocolate is completely melted. It can also be used like a double boiler over a saucepan with a snug fit on the stovetop.
Made from European-grade silicone, it's freezer, oven (from -94-degrees Fahrenheit to 500-degrees Fahrenheit), microwave, dishwasher safe, and non-stick for quick release and easy clean up.
